Tom received his Master's of Divinity degree from Concordia - Fort Wayne. He has previously pastored congregations in Aberdeen, Washington, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and Golden, Illinois. Tom and wife, Paula, also have a media ministry which includes a weekly radio/podcast show, a daily devotional blog, and a weekly small group video. He grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin and enjoys the rural culture and is pleased to be at St. Paul.

Paula received her Master's of Divinity from The Master's Institute in White Bear Lake, MN. She has served alongside Tom in their various churches and is the other half of the Light of Christ Radio ministry. Tom and Paula have three grown children and three grandchildren.
